Hot spot

It's not every day a stylist hands out his cell number to clients. But hair heavyweight Leonard Golino not only doles out his digits, but encourages his faithful to ring him for things as simple as selecting the proper shampoo. This hardworking hair wizard keeps his namesake Leonard Golino Salon open seven days a week to accommodate his faithful. A 10-year veteran of the NYC salon scene, Golino partnered with Kree Perkins, of the much-hyped Robert Kree salon, to open his Chelsea hair mecca. The best part, of course, is that while Golino may have the chops of top stylists, he doesn't have a price tag to match. A cut and blow dry with Golino starts at $65, single-process color at $105 and highlights at $180. In a city that tolerates $800 haircuts, Golino is a standout and a steal.
